Every spring, something magical happens in Gatineau… The majestic Becs Bleus begin their seasonal migration and settle in Pointe-Gatineau, along Gréber Boulevard and Jacques-Cartier Street.

Starting April 27, 2025, keep your eyes peeled — these curious blue birds will land in our neighbourhood for 9 weeks, turning our public spaces into playful, welcoming gathering spots.

A rare and precious species, only 36 Becs Bleus remain. Set out to find them, take a seat on their back, and watch them “in action” — at rest, in flight, or simply enjoying the view.

Follow their journey through Gatineau’s commercial districts and rediscover your city from a fresh perspective. A fun and meaningful experience to enjoy with family, friends, or during a quiet solo moment.
